Red Signs

An immersive video installation that traces repeated departures from home—seasonal return, marriage, emigration, and demolition—through the visual language of red in and from China. Recast from “good luck” decoration into a commanding signal, red symbols (福, 囍, 印, 拆) become instructions that mark when bodies and places must gather, cross thresholds, and leave.

Medium: Immersive video installation; four-channel projection, sound, pressure-sensor interaction, AI-generated imagery Software: TouchDesigner
